Mr Henry K.C Wong comes with a wealth of regional management and world-class experience from several giant multinational corporations such as Bloomberg, Wells Fargo Bank and General Electric for over 22 years. Henry is good at Corporate Governance, Financial Management, Treasury, Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions, Financial Planning & Analysis, Innovative Technology (such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchains and big data management), Project Management and Compliance.

Since 2017, Henry has been heavily investing his time and effort in three major areas – AI Education, Healthcare and ESG projects. Henry is the Managing Director and Founder of several corporations for Education and Healthcare, which include Cosmos Robotor which promotes AI education in China and Asia Pacific region and provides interesting VR and AR course content. It also uses facial recognition technology to improve students’ personalised learning space and it’s targeted from kindergarten level to primary school and covering students with special educational needs (SEN) too.

Mr Wong holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Econometric) from Deakin University and Monash University, Australia respectively. Henry is a Fellow CPA, accredited by CPA Australia since 2000.

Meanwhile, Mr Wong is very dedicated to community services for almost 30 years, serving the needy persons including single living elderly, underprivileged kids and problem families, etc. Mr Wong is also an active director and committee member for other well-known charity organisations and public service which include:

- Vice Chairman, Hong Kong Girl Guides Association NTRA
- Vice Chairman, Hong Kong SME Association
- Steering Committee member of CPA Australia (Financial Service)

Vivian Cheung is the Chief Financial Officer of the English Schools Foundation (ESF), the largest provider of English medium education in Hong Kong. ESF has 22 international schools – from Kindergarten through to Secondary, serving 18,000 students and their families.

Mr James Smith is originally from Cheshire in the UK, and started his teaching career there before moving to Hong Kong in 2007. Since then Hong Kong has very much become home, and he never got tired of the stunning scenery to be seen while out hiking, the city’s incredible restaurants and eateries, and the opportunities for getting involved with Music and Drama, two great passions of his. Mr Smith and his wife have two children, both of whom study at Discovery College, and they love being part of this vibrant and diverse school community. Mr Smith arrived at the College in 2016 and was the Head of Secondary for three years before being appointed as Principal in 2019. Prior to life at Discovery College, he was the Vice Principal at King George V School where he held responsibility for the Middle School and worked with curriculum, student support and learning technologies. ESF is a remarkable organisation to work in and the opportunity to serve Discovery College, with its mission to enable everyone in our community to Grow, Discover and Dream, excites and enthuses Mr Smith every single day as he walks through the door.

Mr Eric C.M. Lee is the Director of LCMA, a Registered Architect with over 30 years of practical experiences. He graduated from the University of Hong Kong with two degrees in Architectural Studies and Architecture. He is also a qualified Conservation Architect and Heritage Consultant with a Master Degree in Architectural Conservation, as well as an UNESCO award winner architect who specialised in restoration and adaptive re-use of historical buildings. He has a wide spectrum of working experience in residential, commercial, office buildings, school and institutional, as well as renovation projects. He was a part-time lecturer of the University of Hong Kong, Centennial College, Hong Kong College of Technology and Hong Kong Construction Industry Training Academy.

Being one of the first AFS exchange students of Hong Kong Chapter, Eric has gained a lot from this unique intercultural exchange programme. He has strong belief and interest in promoting education and cultural experience learning to benefit students and the younger generations.

Ms Livia Tang is a mother of two children. She is currently working in the area of Gifted Education, providing services for school and student services for gifted students across Hong Kong. Prior to this, Livia has founded an international kindergarten and learning centres in Hong Kong. For 18 years of teaching and curriculum design experience, she has been engaging in the education field with children from toddlers to eighteen years old.

Livia is also an experienced education consultant who has expertise in offering parenting and schooling advice to parents. With experience as a school principal in the early childhood sector and specialised learning in education centres, she has been promoting social-emotional learning and character building.

Livia is immensely passionate about education and continues her contribution and focuses her work on researching topics, knowledge and skills related to affective education and parent coaching. Livia also volunteers for a children’s charity organisation as a consultant.

Having grown up and spent most of his life in Sydney, Australia, Victor is a professional native English teacher and an advocate of practical learning with over a decade of English teaching experience in primary, secondary and tertiary. He has a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the University of Cambridge, UK and a Higher Education Teaching Certificate from Harvard University, USA. Victor relocated to Hong Kong in 2012 and together with his wife, started Bright International Education. Successfully building the business from one small English education centre to its current 39 centres across Hong Kong and 3 partnership centres in Macau.

Besides teaching, Victor has published many English textbooks for primary students. Having held various senior management positions in the private and non-profit sectors, and having served on the governing council of Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia, Victor is well experienced in education management and governance. In addition to his educational qualifications, he is also well qualified in business management, holding a Master of Business Administration, Graduate Diploma in Management, Graduate Certificate in Management and a Corporate Directors’ Diploma from the University of New England, Australia.

At present, Victor is the Vice President of the Hong Kong Small and Medium Enterprises Association and is a Justice of the Peace appointed and commissioned by the Governor of the State of New South Wales, Australia. Together with his wife, Victor has 2 adult daughters, 2 teenage sons and 2 dogs.

Mr Pushkar Sane is the Co-Founder & CEO of Convergination Ventures. His extensive experience spans across Digital, Technology, Marketing, Advertising, Media, Strategy and Big Data Analytics. He helps organisations to leverage the power of technology and data to transform business processes and customer connections. In order to keep Convergination ahead of the market he spends quality time thinking about future of content & media, impact of digitization on human life & businesses, and the pace of technology change. Prior to founding Convergination, he worked in regional and global leadership roles for Starcom, Euro RSCG and FCB Worldwide. He served as an adviser-in-residence at the VentureNursery from 2012 to 2015 and advised over 15 ventures. He is actively involved in community service and passionate about sports, reading, quizzing, photography and traveling.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics, a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications from MS University of Baroda in India, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Advertising and Communications Management from NMIMS in India. He also attended Executive Management & Leadership Program at INSEAD.

Mrs Ying Huang is a mother of two children. She is a seasoned Human Resource Executive with over 20 years work experience in reputable global companies such as Amgen, Johnson & Johnson and Siemens. Ying is a long-term community Youth program volunteer, often going to schools to share business knowledge and practices with primary and high school students, currently she is a volunteer for Junior Achievement (JA) Hong Kong.

Ying has worked and lived in different locations across Asia and North America. She and family moved to Hong Kong from Canada in 2019 and have lived in Discovery Bay since then. Ying holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Management from Northwest University, China and a Master’s degree in Human Resources from Leeds University, UK.

Mr. Jonathan Simpson is originally from Hampshire, England where he started his teaching career.

He has spent the last 15 years teaching Individuals & Societies in MYP and DP programme schools; first in Pune, India and then in London, UK before moving to Hong Kong in 2023.

Jonathan is fascinated by the changing world, especially the role of emerging economies in this change. He has found teaching in International schools to be very rewarding and has learnt to appreciate the different ways of working, and different ways of seeing the world that he has encountered. Outside of work, he loves discovering new places, new music and learning about financial markets.

Mrs Jess Worringham has experience teaching in primary schools from Y1 to Y6. Originally from the Isle of Man, she first taught on the island and then in Manchester before moving to Hong Kong a few years ago. Having started at ESF Kennedy School, she moved to Discovery College in 2023 to take on the role of Year Group Leader.

Jess has loved becoming part of the DC community and is looking forward to being part of the school council and supporting the work they do. Outside of work, Jess volunteers for an animal charity, helping animals to get the home they deserve. She also loves to travel, eat out at the many excellent restaurants Hong Kong has to offer, and has recently found a passion for diving.

Mamta is a new addition to Discovery College and to Hong Kong. She moved to the DC community in 2018 from Singapore, where her last stint was as the Media & Public Affairs officer at the Embassy of Israel. She has more than 15 years of experience in corporate communications, press and public relations and events management. Mamta has a post-graduate degree in public relations, as well as an advanced diploma in mass communications from Oklahoma City University.
